Tributyrin:

Tributyrin is a short chain fatty acid ester. It appears as a colorless to pale yellow oily liquid, almost odorless with a faint fatty aroma. It is insoluble in water but highly soluble in ethanol, chloroform, and ether, and remains stable under normal conditions. In the digestive system, it does not decompose in gastric juice; instead, it is broken down into butyric acid and glycerol by pancreatic lipase.

Tributyrin supports gastrointestinal health in animals. A stable butyric acid ester, it releases butyrate gradually to nourish intestinal cells, strengthening the gut barrier and blocking harmful pathogens.It balances microbiota by inhibiting pathogens and aiding beneficial flora, easing issues like inflammation or diarrhea, and boosts nutrient absorption.Used in feeds, supplements, it targets optimal gut function, supporting digestive wellness reliably.
