Introduction

 

1. Provide phosphorus
The content of phosphorus in diammonium phosphate is usually about 20%, which can be used as an effective phosphorus source. Phosphorus is mainly involved in bone development, energy metabolism, nucleic acid and cell membrane synthesis and other physiological functions in animals.

2. Provide nitrogen
Diammonium phosphate contains soluble nitrogen (about 21%) and exists in the form of ammonium ion, which can provide nitrogen source for rumen microorganisms in ruminants and promote rumen fermentation and crude fiber digestion.

3. Improve feed utilization
By improving the activity of rumen microorganisms, diammonium phosphate can increase the utilization of crude fiber and non-protein nitrogen in the diet, thereby indirectly improving the nutrient absorption and production performance of animals.

Application:

1. Ruminant feed
Diammonium phosphate is mainly added to the feed of ruminants such as cattle and sheep as a supplementary source of phosphorus. Phosphorus is an important element for bone health and metabolism in ruminants, and is also closely related to milk production and reproductive performance.
Rumen flora of ruminants can utilize nitrogen and phosphorus sources in diammonium phosphate.

2. Aquatic feed
In aquaculture, diammonium phosphate can be used in some fish or shrimp feeds to supplement phosphorus to promote bone and shell development.
