Sodium tripolyphosphate is used in detergents, as an auxiliary, soap synergist and prevent bar soap crystallisation and frosting, industrial water softener, tanning pre-tanning agent, dyeing auxiliaries, oil well digging mud control agent, oil stain prevention agent for paper making, effective dispersing agent for the treatment of suspensions in paints, kaolin, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate and so on.
